国徽

圭亚那国徽启用于1966年，中间的盾面上有三组图案：上部为国花睡莲；中间为三道蓝色波纹，象征该国的埃塞奎博河、伯比斯河、德梅拉拉河三条主要河流及众多的瀑布、激流；下部为一只雉，代表该国丰富的动物资源。盾徽上端为一顶君主式的王冠，王冠之上是一顶镶着两颗钻石的印第安酋长的王冠。盾徽两侧各有一只美洲豹：左边的豹握着一把镐，象征开发矿藏；右边的豹握着一根甘蔗，代表传统农作物。下端的绶带上用英文写着“一个民族、一个国家、一个命运”。
